Hello all,
Just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. Im Johnny from Rutherford County NC. Recently bought an 85 Jeep Grand Wagoneer with the 360 / auto / select trac 4x4.
As a child of the early 80s my dad drove a 79 wagoneer which got us through many years and the blizzard of 93 haha, and in the mid 90's as I turned 16 I received my first Jeep a 1982 Jeep Wagoneer. As as we all know sometimes were stupid, and in 2002 I sold my 82 wagoneer.
Now im back on the straight and narrow with a wagoneer in my own driveway ... Maybe now I will start a collection haha.

Welcome from SW Colorado! I was in Charlotte in 93 and remember that storm. Looked it up here to be sure it was the one:

Hey Johnny -- welcome from Central Colorado!
I spent much of my formative years wandering around those lovely old hills in Rutherford County -- getting shot at a few times, and finding the local moonshine a few more times.
Most of my folks still live in the Uwharries, and Dear Li'l Sis is down near Pumpkintown, SC.
Ain't nuthin' quite like these old Jeeps for wandering the ridges & hollers. Up here where it snows a bit mine sits until about June when the good places again become passable. And we don't have decent pork barbecue.

It's always good to have a FSJ in your driveway!! It will be good to know there is another FSJ owner in NC. I live in Etowah just outside of Brevard and Hendersonville NC.
Good Luck! :)

again thanks and welcome, i didn't get much time to work on mine since we had snow. I had to cover it up with a tarp to keep the snow out. I did get the knocking 304 engine and he is bringing more parts this week. when i get it all sorted out I'll see what is needed and in a few weeks get to work on it.
