Does anyone have any ideas for a custom grill for my 83 WT, I bought a used one but it is very brittle and I don't know how long it will last.

a buddy of mine made his own grill from that industrial floor grating they use on catwalks etc. It's on an old Toyota FJ40, but might be made to work for you. He just painted it body color(grey primer mostly), but a sledgehammer just bounces off it !!!
A grill from any year FSJ (truck, wag, chero) can be made to fit on your rig relatvely easy.
