Thanks to all who helped me with repairing my tilt mech on my steering column. When I pulled the shift lever from the column, the tension spring was broken and a few coils were left in the retaining pocket wraped around the inner core pin to stay!! I can't figure out a way to get the old coils out without dissassy the whole unit again :( I have a new spring but it won't stay in the pocket due to the coils left behind...I have thought about some sort of epoxy or JB weld but I shy away from fixes like that if I can do a better job....Any ideas? TIA
