Just new to this forum but for what its worth I'm doing a bds 4" lift. It's lifetime on the springs and I've heard they're worth their weight. My jeep came with a 3" body lift that I'll trim to fit my 35s properlike. That's the plan right now anyways. I'll post some pics here soon after the install.

I don't have too much technical info on the BJ's kit, but here's what I know about BDS. I got the 4" 4 spring kit with matching hydraulic shocks and drop Pitman arm. Tapered leaves with military wrap spring eyes and anti-friction material between each leaf. The biggest difference for me was warranty and availability of replacement parts. The warranty - "if you're the original purchaser, BDS will replace any part that breaks with no questions asked. Period." There are more places across the country that sell BDS parts, but only two for BJ's. This should mean I could have the replacement part in my hands without having to get something shipped - in a perfect world.

I am sure BJ's sells high quality stuff, so the chances of breaking something probably isn't any higher than the BDS stuff. In either case of course, there is a lot that depends on the driver and usage.

So the differences would seem to be cost and warranty, and how you value each of those. Either are fine choices in my mind.

Why not? Lets make it interesting. Cost, component, quality, completeness, customer service ...

My own experience:
Rustys has customer service was always good to me. Ran there 6.5 spring pack on my XJ. It was a stiff ride, on and offroad.
Currently running a 3.5 BDS spring kit on my YJ. it is super soft ride on the street. No offroading with it yet. Still working on the 44 F/R swap.
Just purchased some small parts from BJ's. Seems fine. No official report yet.
