Went yesterday to Jake's Full Size Jeep Junk Yard in Burnsville North Carolina. I gotta say this is a awesome place for FSJ parts. There were several lanes of J trucks and Wagoneers. Had no problem finding the parts I needed the only obstacle was the 14 inches of snow that had built up but that will be gone soon.
The yard operator Jake is very knowledgeable about FSJs he and Jackie I believe that was the ladies name., helped cut our time in half as far as info and assistance. They were down in the snow and mud helping us get the parts we needed. Jackie was helping my Dad and he said that she knew alot about parts removal and thats saying alot from someone who use to rebuild cars.
If I'm not mistaken they are members on this sight they go by tank and halftrac so if you need any parts for FSJs hollar at them. While I was there I got a fender, razor grille, and grille support. A new grille support for a J-10 listed at over 600 dollars but I got a wagoneer one at alot better price.

I was just wondering if you guys would be willing to ship parts seeing as I'm half a continent away? Wish I could stop by there though. . . what a shame.

I will see you guys in June. I will be going that way to the OBX. I will now plan a detour just to come check you out and maybe get a few parts from ya

These two are awsome folks! if anyone is driving close by they should make an effort to stop and just Jeep chat. Jake makes some great rat stew! ;)
Jake, haven't had the kids shoot yet, I need to find the ammo, don't know where it went? Thanks again for the time I had there!!

I wanna know when it's finished! I need to come up there anyway. Haven't got the carb on yet. Waiting on a gasket from Auto Moan. Then we'll be ready to roll!
