Hello to all,
We have a '77 Wagoneer. The problem is the gas tank filler neck rubber hoses are crumbling. I cant seem to find any source for new parts.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

I'm pretty sure that they are a Dealer only item. Lot's of guys with parts rig's here though so maybe someone might post that they have what you need. Also welcome to the forum.

Get With Veepster... he replaced his about 5 months ago. I found a SUPER HD rubber hose for something else that worked... he couldn't find them either.
BTW the 3 lines are in these sizes for your info:
(1) 1" ID for the inlet
(2) 3/4" ID for the vent and rollover line (that's the one that you see running forward and into the wheel well)
Just thought I'ld let you know...

I just recently replaced my vent hose, but I could not find any rated for gas line in 3/4
. The person behind the counter said that since it is not under pressure it didn't matter, anybody know if this is the case?

I had to replace my gas filler tube in my 1974 Wag. NAPA had "FlexHose". Cost $14.00 per foot! Ouch! It was the only thing I could find.
Maybe pull a good one from a junker?

Update to the hose replacement. The local hot rod shop guys suggested going to a muffler shop, pickup pipe to make the bend through the fender and use large fuel grade hose to join all the pieces, eliminating the factory formed rubber hose.
No go at the muffler shop, they cant bend pipe in a 90 deg angle. Still bought some pipe, cut two pieces with a 45 deg and welded them together making my 90. Used the fuel grade hose, its about 1 3/4, will check that.
Also had to re-seal the filler neck to the metal piece mounted to the body, also had gas leaking from there.
I will post a follow up, hopefully this will get rid of the leaks and gas smell in the wag.

do a search on the hose in the archives...I replaced mine about a year ago........there is an awesome hardware store in town that stocked the stuff.....definitely an industrial item.....don't remember the price(but it wasn't too bad) but I think I posted it a while back......If this is a much needed item I can buy a bunch and ship it out to you guys....let me know...
