You should get the advertised 4" and then some depending on how bady your current springs are sagging.

Is that 31's on a grand wag. I think any more you'll have to cut a bit. I like the look of the 4" best with 31 BFG's

ok cause im doing a 4 inch lift and a spring over on the front and moving the spints to under the frame in the back so just with the 4 inch i only can put 32s?

Im able to get away with 33's on my waggy with a 4'' spring lift they do hit the leafs upfront in tight turns.. I hear that can be corrected with bump stops but my long term plan is to go to Cherk W/T axles so I am just dealing with it for the time being.

you are doing 4" springs and a spring over on the front? That will net you about 10".

well i hope i do i`m looking to fit about 36s or so atleast i hope so but in the back im going to make a bracket to drop the springs below the frame to get another 3 or 4 from the back aswell. any ideas on that?

Anything bigger than 32's and you'll probably want to change you gearing. What gears are you currently running? My waggy has 3:08's I believe and I'm running 31's on a 3.5'' Rancho lift and down low she's kin of a dog but does well on the highway.

You might wanna check out some of the old engine threads. I have seen a couple regarding 327's.

I think Gambler68 had a thread on the 327 he's building IIRC. I have been told they are very good engines but nothing like the chevy 327's I'm used to.

ok, so the plan is put the 4" spings on now, get it some tires and do the other mods later? If not, then forget the 31's and go with 35's if they will fit. You might need to trim a little.

no im doing all the mods at one go so i dont have to take the lift kit off and put it back on so im just doing it at one go.

the gen1 amc rambler v8 engines 250-287-327 where used from 1956-1967. the rambler 327 is amc's big block.

i dont know why you want to have 11" of lift especially on stock n/t axles. go soa only and cut till you can fit the tires you want.

The J-trucks and Cherokees are wide-track and the rear wheelwells are larger than the wagoneers, therefore they can clear a much larger tire.

I have 33 on a 4" lift, but the rear rubbed so bad that it cut the tire so I had to trim 2". only on full stuff will they hit now
