Ok so i have have 1978 wagoneer im going to restore and make in to a trail rig i`m going to put a amc 327 with dana 44 front and mayb a dana 60 rear if budget permits im taking alot from a 66 wagoneer chop top i got with the 78 waggy i paid $310 for both of them and i was told the 78 ran wen the guy pulled the motor to rebuild it so if i cant get the 327 to run ill put the 360 back in.... any input or ideas would help thanks pics are coming soon.

ill have it ready for ECI in june.

skip the 327, as it's more expensive to rebuild, harder to get parts for, and the 360's are a dime a dozen and cheaper (motor mounts, exhaust, cooling don't have to be changed, etc.)

i like the idea of a 327 i haven`t had one b4 and know what they can do plus i already have a j 10 with a 360 and one with a 401 so i want to try the 327 even tho its gonna cost more
