Went out into the AZ desert with, of all things, a Toyota group. Great folks to wheel with. A couple of Land Cruizers, and FJ, one of those small Toyotas that look like baby jeeps.

My buddy has a Land Cruiser and invited me along. It was fun and they accepted the Jeep no problems.

It was just past Superior, heading north towards globe. Maybe 3 miles. We started just where the highway has a passing lane start. Good thing too since we were lined up on the highway while they opened the gate (and one of the folks got out and locked the hubs while half of us were still on the highway) but don't get me started. We eventually found our way to Globe. Mostly just 'exploring'. Some pretty knarly stuff. All the rigs were lifted/tires/locked. Many of them had offroad bumpers. A couple had winches. We all got lots of 'AZ Pinstripes'.
Thanks for the nice replies!

your Cherokee is beautiful. Looks like a fun time. I like it when people of other races (I mean brand names!) can mix well together.

Thanks Mike! Yeah, I like the Rhino look, everyone thinks the truck is much older than it is. When I had it painted I had them plug up all of the holes so it's a pretty clean installation. I had the grill chromed too, nice and shiney!
