The plastic piece that runs along the top of my tailgate on the inside of the cabin is broken. Does anyone know if there is a place to buy them other than junk yards? Its a '90 with burgundy interior. If anyone else out there has an old parts vehicle with one they want to sell let me know as well.

Thanks

this piece is only on 89 90 and 91's with the rear wiper.this is because the window does not go all the way down so the wiper can rest on the glass.
my burgandy 89 is broken as weel but not to bad.

I was looking into making a mold to make them. But I didn't think there was
that much demand.

Also thought you can make them out of a solid piece of plastic.
with a mill or a duplicating router.

What about reproducing them in metal to help support the tailgate where it always breaks?

I free handed this on the table saw out of yellow pine.
Then a little sanding.

I just have to counter bore the holes.
