Hey guys just some updated pics, I have been really busy and have not been on in a few months. During my time I bobbed the back and chopped the body off, caged it in. I gained about 2" of lift with the lack of steel. So lowering it will be in my future...LOL. Future plans are 4link the rear and stretch it 8-10" to match a J10. Since that is what my new driveshaft is for...thanks Heimeken! Enjoy.

Hardknocks...let me know when you will be there I will make sure I make it. Thursday nights is their club get together thing. I usually go on Tuesdays.
Thanks guys, I obviously have not wheeled it but just driving it around...it is light back there. Gonna take some getting used to.

What is your wheelbase now? Since you are planning on stretching it to a J10 wheelbase, is that a LB or SB wheelbase?
I had a LB J10 and pulled the rear axle forward ~12" and had a 113" WB. For around here in the north east with 40s it was a bit long (probably good with 44s).
It looks great though!

Still thinking of the stretching part. I will be linking it though. I am at stock wheel base, 108", around here that can be short. A lot of Blazers and fullsize rigs, big buggys etc, oh it will not have 40's if I do that. I will put 44's on it. If i do stretch it I will do it to match the driveshaft I got from another member. Should put it around 118 to match a short bed J10.

Pushing it that far back would look sick, plus it would give you a great departure angle.

It will help alot, I will need bigger tires. Which will be over doing it for the rear 60 and I may need to do something for the front to get bigger tires. One thing leads to another....

14B or a D70 rear would be a good upgrade.

Michael, your rig is getting more and more radical. Looks good, I will let you know the next time I am going to Bridgeport. Also, what is TRC? The clubhouse is for Trc? Just curious. Hope all is well, looks like it is.

As soon as I get it all finished I will take more. Right now that is all I have. I should be close to finishing this weekend. Need to run a couple more bars, and make my cooler holder.......or beer holder.

Michael,
I cant say a thing about cutting a nice one up as I have done the same. Looks good and I bet is a blast. The light rear end issue is a tough one. I ended up going end over end twice that day I saw you in my scout in Barnwell and it was all do to no weight in the rear. I probably was more extreme than your situation, however, the pucker factor will still be there.

Yeah Brad you always liked the skinning pedal more than I, although I have found it the past couple of years. Just like anything else you learn how to drive it. Once I link it, as long as I do it right, it should put the weight to the ground back there. I will go wheel it in a few weeks to see how it changed before I do that though!
