What does the battery/starter wiring look like on an unmolested 1989 GW?
On mine, I have two cables leading from the positive batt. terminal. One goes to the starter relay and the other goes directly down to the starter solenoid.
I ordered an OEM replacement cable and got a single cable just long enough to reach the starter relay. Does another cable then jump from the starter relay (using the same terminal) to the starter solenoid or from another terminal on the relay or what?
Jeep/Haynes wiring diagrams for 1989 are confusing/inconsistent..
On the negative side, I have one cable from the neg. terminal to the A/C mounting bracket and a smaller (18 ga.?) ground wire to the inner fender. Is this also correct?
