I have the drivers side vent pull broken. OR not so much broken but the cable housing plastic bracket does not stay in the dash. Is there a diagram or pics of the assembly so i can remove it and repalce it?

Thanks

You have to take the grill off the kick panel to get to the end of the cable. Once unhooked, the whole thing comes out of the dash. rethread new one and install grill.

This is as good as I can get right now. The two wing that on the back side of the dash will need to be squeezed together and slide out the front.

Thanks guys.
Unfortuantely one of those wings are gone, so it is easy to come out the front :) I will have a go at the vent, since it is the driver side it is a bit easier to get to compared to the passenger one behind the AC unit.

Is it normal that to close the left vent you push in, and to close the right vent you pull out?

I had both pushed in and my wife was complaining (imagine that) that she was getting cold air on her feet...So I pulled out the right knob and cold air stopped...go figure. One in, one out.

They were put together wrong, yes I do believe this is possible. PUSHED IN should be closed, make the offending unit match the same way the good one is and VIOLA!
