Anyone install a smaller charcoal canister in their waggy? I have been debating on removing it and putting little air filter breathers on the lines. I only have the vent lines to the gas tank connected. But I would like to get room where the original canister is to work on the motor. I am curious to know if anyone has moved the canister or used a smaller one, or heck who has a pic of a differnt type of vent to cap off the gas tank fuel lines.
Thanks.

earlier waggys have the canister at the firewall, next to the EGR... so if the engine moves, the EGR will crack the canister.
Little air breather(s) will not prevent gasoline smell from making its way to the engine bay and the cab.

X2 U could move it and lengthen the lines, but don't do away with it.
After swapping in an aftermarket tank on my Scrambler, took me forever to figure out what/how to R&R the lines.
Engine vacuum needs to "clean" out the canister.
Also MUST have the liquid check valve which limits fuel from ever getting to canister.
AMC sold new canisters and even the cartridges.
