Dana 44 Knuckle Assembly Question for Hi-Steer

I have the 4 inch studs from Parts Mike and I was about to install them into the knuckles when I realized that I don't know which end goes into the knuckle. The short side, or the long side???
They are similar to the studs pictured below.

Set the arm on top of the knuckle to figure that one out. Should be the long side in the knuckle.
You have to have full thread engagement in the threaded knuckle plus the thickness of the arm.

I used red locktite, too.

X2. Long side into the knuckle and use red locktite.
