Put some pb blaster or wd on the connection, get some channel locks or a strap wrench, and work it back and forth. It'll come out. Take a hacksaw, cut the bad stuff off. It's that easy.

so with an after market intake you have to take out the fill tube?
It's just press-fit in there. Work it gently back and forth with a rubber mallet. If you don't get wild with the mallet the old tube will tap into the new manifold as is. And yes...new manifolds don't come come with a fill tube, you have to transfer your old one over.

i found a large socket that just fit inside the tube. then a rubber mallet worked it back and forth until it just pulled right out. and no dents!

i was fortunate enough, that mine came out with ease. while you're at it you might as well sand it down and give it a fresh look to go with the new manifold.
good luck
