View Full Version : Parts Availability and more?
I'm finally getting around to ordering my springs for Rita (espo 2") and I'll need a new or manufactured skid plate (I really don't have the time to make one myself). I found one on grandwagoneers.com but it's a bit pricy. Is there any other supplier for these? I should also reinforce the frame in this area and they sell a frame reinforcement kit (basically a piece of steel) to be welded and bolted on the frame. It's not much 100.00 bucks or so. Is this worth it or would it be easy just to cut a piece of iron and do it myself? Thanks :D

I don't know about the skid plate, gas tank?
As far as the frame kit, for $100 you can buy $10 worth of scrap and $90 worth of beer.

Not sure on any other suppliers but that site is really pricey. BJs has the fuel sending unit for 35 bucks and at grandwagoneers.com for the same thing plus a sock they charge a hundred, even the dealer didnt charge me that much. Sorry cant help you with the skid plate but just wanted to throw that in.
good luck

The skid plate holds the gas tank in. If its bad, it should be replaced.
