Howdy all,
I have a 1989 Waggy that I intend to restore and would like interior suggestions.
A couple years ago I stripped the frame, welded up a couple rusted frame mounts, and coated frame with POR-15 and POR chassis coat.
Exterior color will be white, of course with wood decals.
The current interior color is burgundy red, in very poor shape. I would ideally like a gray/charcoal/black interior.
A charcoal carpet kit (assuming this is available), light gray headliner, and front buckets (possibly gray tuffy stereo console between them)/rear bench seat from some other SUV would take care of the bulk of the interior, the bottle-neck is going to be the hugely red dash and door panels, any suggestions how to change the color of them?
EDIT: On second thought tan would probably match better with the wood decal exterior. I suppose one option would be finding a tan interior waggy and swapping the door panels over? Hmmm...

Thanks,
