thought i would post up a new "hello" thread, since I got another waggy and it has been a while since I posted.

I'm using this as my daily driver and plan to lift and get it looking like a "cool" grandad truck. i'm not a grandad or a dad but i think it would look cool that way!
i was looking for a XJ when i found this and since I've had a few before I decided to pick it up. driver's fender is damage but i have relacement and tranny is a little tricky when cold. other than that it has the basic "used" car problems; few un-operatable accesories, non working tailight and a few missing interior pieces.
hope to keep this for a while and enjoy it but I have a bad habit of "shopping"!

Nice wag and welcome back for the third time......
Why not use and old handle instead of a new one?

Get a new front clip for the driver's side and a bumper and it'll look REALLY nice!

That interior is in VERY good condition. I was told to use Murphy's oil soap (or something like that) on the seats to keep it looking that way.

thanks for the replies!
this is my original handle, i've used it on a few other sites.

i have a fender for it but i might need a bumper if i ever fix it but right now no major body work.

had my first problem with it this morning:
after working on it this weekend i went on a few dirt roads to
make sure the 4WD worked ok. as i was pulling into a field to check it some more, i glanced under to see if i could see the driveshaft to verify what i was feeling. i saw some clear fluid leaking and assumed it was water that was running off due to the 45 degree angle i was on.
fast forward to this morning, right before i pull into work the brakes go soft and i ended up coasting around the gas station before pulling into the back parking lot with rear brakes only.

hard brake line leak at the bracket, hope it's loose and not cracked.
