It has come to the point where I have to decide on a color. The project probably won't see a lot of off road usage under my ownership, once completed, so I am going to put a little extra effort in the fit and finish.

That stated, I like the two-tone color combos the NT's offered. I have narrowed it down to either blue and white or yellow and white. I want to use the Indian stripe in white in either case.

The following pictures are hanging on the wall in my garage and they illustrate the combos I like. Substitute white in place of black on the yellow NT in the picture.

I am leaning blue using a candy blue a little darker than the picture. House of Kolors Oriental Blue over Orian Silver base coat.

If I go yellow it will be the 1974 AMC Mellow Yellow. Either way the interior is black using the base color as accent in seating design.

also - is there a way I can get a clearer shot of the one with the red Chief on it? I like the comparison images they use.. if you have more, can you please send them my way?

The Cherokee in the third picture is actually an orange color. They have all been mounted in frames and are under glass hence the poor quality picture. I will see if I can put it on a table and get a clearer shot. I will email it to you. Give me some time though.

Red has been tossed around too. If it is red it will be a deeper red candy color as well. I have to decide in the next two weeks.

I always liked Sunshine Yellow. On a Cherokee, I would go a little different with white top down to the top of the doors and tailgate and put indian stripes on it - dang, just about like you described.

not the best image, but my Waggy was that color

My dad had a 76 Gremlin same color during the time I had that Wag.
Might be other years as well.

It does look nice. I have been comparing the Mellow Yellow to the Sunshine Yellow. I want to Linex the bottom of the body tub (like Sportsidedan did) and interior panels and I want to tint the Linex to match the color of the body.

Looks like I just may have then shoot a color or two for me to see what it looks like.
