Anyone have any stories or experience with putting a 3rd row in a waggy? I can see getting in and out may be a PIA. It looks rather easy to put a 3rd seat in the back. What have you guys done?

There is a family at church that drives an 80's wag with a nifty 2 seater in the back. It faces backwards and matches the burgandy. Works for them very well. Two short kids ride in back with lap belts. Looks OEM to me.

Zack did a really nice 3rd row seat installation with shoulder belts for ALL passengers.
I've seen it in person and it's really well done!

I didn't bolt this one in so I could take it in and out easily. It fit good though. Worked good for tailgating. Not so good for people with big feet.

Thanks for the pics. The back seat would be mainly for kids ;) Good tosee what looks to be the stock rear seat just flipped and the same rear flip mounts are bolted to the floor.

Go to a junk yard and get you a stock rear seat. Fits great. $50 max.

I have a few seats i could probably get for free. From looking at the pics i am glad the seat will fit between the humps. Unfortunately i can only have lap belts since I cut the top off in the rear ;)

That's my wag and Zack did a very nice job there. Not tons of leg room, so kids only, but they love riding in the way-back and I love having the shoulder belt safety factor. The "feet" on the seat are going to have to be modified, since they originally mount on a vertical surface in the footwell area of the second row, and have to be modified to mount onto the horizontal surface of the storage compartment, but I figure that can't be too hard.
