Picked up a nice 8' bed today

Monday Gadgetman gave me a call, said he was going to check out a gladiator that had a newer bed put on it, sounded like a clean rot free out of state bed. He sent 21 pics, printed most of them to show the body man, and he said go for it. I had sides here from Elliott and was just about to piece one together so this will save lots of work. Rande happened to be in the area and stopped by to help get it on the trailer, he also found parts he needed for his gladiator project in what was left of the cab. I'll try to get some pics up later.

My body man put me off for a day to drop it off, hopefully the snow holds off, still sitting on the trailer outside. I got out and pulled off some stuff today, it had marker lights tail lamp housings, still has side chrome but the rachet straps are in the way. 6" or more snow is forcasted for Tuesday, hopefully it will be indoors by then.

I still have the sides here from Elliott, the wife would like me to get rid of them but I got the what if the truck gets hit thought in the back of my head, but if someone needs them they can probally go.

I was looking at the fuel filler today, this bed has it in the sheetmetal, not the plastic recess, looks like the late model filler bolts up so it should work.

This bed has the chrome on it, and I have 2 sets of cab chrome, I still don't plan to paint the whole truck yet, but paint the panels I have to drill for the trim, and it needs rocker panels replaced when the bed is off.

You got lucky there. See if the guys up in Canada want the bed sides then, bet they snap those up quick... if you want to move them... they've been around... New Mexico, TX...

If I'd move them along it would help pay the body shop bill. Do you still have the links to the pics, my body guy blasted that dent repair to get a look at that and blasted up under the rail and epoxy primed the insides, other than that thy are unchanged from when you had them.
