I am going to get a 4" lift soon. My problem is that one of my front shackles is bent. The stockers look pretty cheesy, is there anything else I can use that is stronger without getting more lift? Or if there is somthing that has only an inch or so? If it makes a diff this is for my 78 chero WT. It will have 35s on it when I am done. I am guessing the 35s may rub some, if they do I will get a body lift. But if I need new shackels anyway, I may go that route. But I don't want any long shackles though as this jeep needs to be roadworthy. Any help would be great!
you can use chevy shackles that gain you about an inch. do a search and you will come up with lots of info here. quite a few of us have done it.

they should work on a grand wag just fine. They are rear shackles from a half ton chevy truck. 89-96 i think. They are about 1.5" longer then stock, so they give about 0.75" of lift. And they are a bit more heavy duty.

Now get these all the way around? This probably a stupid question, but i want to be sure. I really would like to keep front and rear even.

The jeep pickup front shackles are lots stronger and the same size as your stockers. They loook like they're made out of 1/4" steel. Dennis

My J10's front shackles are exactly the same length as my Cherokees front shackles.
as for where to put the chevy ones, only in front. A longer shackle in back will lower the back.
