Tinkering around the other day and found a vaccum hose with a "T" connector on it and one end has no home. The vaccum hose is one of the 3 for the 4x4 selector (quadratrac). It is the vaccum hose that connects to the manifold for pressure I guess, but like I said, before it goes into the 4x4 selector control there is a "T" valve with one end sucking air like it should be plugged into something. Any ideas????

...A....GOLF....T..... :D
It might go to your heater/def controls. Do they work? I'd at least plug it till you find where it does go.

quite right ....
does the vehicle have cruise control?
here's a snapshot at the firewall where the reservoir mounts. notice the in the diagram, there is one vac line (orange in the diagram) coming from the QT outlet on the f/w to the cruise control vacuum line.
