Howdy,
Drivign to eastern Oregon tonight and need to adjust the choke on my 89 GW - 2150. I know it should't be this hard, but of all that I have read in the archives and reviewing my manuals, I just can't see where it is. I know it on passenger side and you can get to it from the front of the motor, but what am I looking for?
One article mentioned adjusting the bimetalic spring. I can remember trying that a month ago by taking off the cover with the three screws but from memory that didn't seem right so I gave up. There is also a small ~1/4" screw head that seems to be attacjed to the choke linkage between the bimetalic unit and the carb body on the passenger side. Is this it?
Any quick help would be greatly appreciated. Since the fall weather change, the starts are really rough in the morning. Will it be a counterclockwise turn or clockwise for the fall setting?
