I am swapping out my axles to open knuckle d44s off a a 74 jtruck, The rims that came with it are to narrow for my 33 inch tires so I need some new. I have been combing the for sale links and there are some great deals out there but nothing close enough to me to make it worth the savings. If I hit up a junkyard will 6 lug fit off of any other trucks?

be careful with the chevy wheels, the newer ones that had the unit bearing 4wd and possibly others, the center hole is too small for the front hubs and they have so shallow that they rub the springs on the back. This is of course if your running stock wheels.

Those are off of IFS trucks, stick with 88 and older (except Blazer and Suburban to 91) and they will fit.
