Hi guys... My old man owns a full size Cherokee and a J10. So for Christmas this year I thought I would be a little different and get him something cool. I have been looking around the net for 1:24 diecast models of either of his Jeeps and have found squat. Does anyone here have a source or are they not even produced?

Thanks guys... :)

I have seen grand wagoneer die cast models but, never a jtruck or a cherokee.

Welcome!

In 1/24-5 you can find a Honcho Stepside, If I remember correctly, its made by Hotwheels.
If not you can find some Tonkas... Wagoneer/Cherokee/Jtruck... They are around 1/20, but it is the only die-cast you can find out there... In that scale.

This is all I know of:

I would love to find a real model to assemble of a Wagoneer. I have seen some of Honchos models on ebay before.

Majorette also made 1/64 Cherokees. There are many, many versions of that Cherokee. One of them is also an ambulance. I think that was a Cherokee ambulance, but maybe it was a J truck ambulance.

An example of an item that I recently sold on E Bay.

If you want it in 1/18 scale you need to find one from AutoArt and repaint it.
There is also a Totsietoy that made a "Wagoneer" in around 1/30scale, but need to modified it and repainted.

If not you should take a Majorette cherokee, and convert it in a Wagoneer. I did to make mine 91. :)

@Brizio: That really is neat! I'm a member on a Mopar specific board and we often have a real heck of a time finding models for the body style car the that the board caters to. That is an exceptional job on that Wagoneer.

Well, the posts in this thread set me on the right path. I found the Revell Honcho model that was mentioned on eBay. It's not diecast, but this is still great.

Thanks guys! This will make an excellent stocking stuffer for dad.

Thank you!

The Revell Honcho its a really nice kit, above all the first series, that has bigger and softer tires.
Have fun!!! :)

"Dud model"

Really, how hard is it to check the spelling on an ad? The funny part is, it may be costing them money. At the same time, some lucky person saved a few bucks.
