Has anyone tried to convert to an ABS braking system? If so...What's the procedure and where can I obtain parts? This would be cool!!!

Retrofitting ABS would be so difficult and so expensive on one of these, that it may be very near impossible.

Just Zip Tie a Block of wood on the backside of the brake pedal at about where the wheels lock up. CHEAP!! LOL

The benefits of having an ABS would not be worth the EXTREME hassle of installing one.. The amount of weight, tires, and speed calculations just to program an ABS system that may POSSIBLY work (but probably won't) would be mind boggaling.... ABS is pretty custom thing for cars and i think you would have to build it up from scratch and i doubt it would even be possible to do... Sorry... ;)

a better question would be why on earth do you WANT ABS?

I like the wooden block idea. I was uncertain what was involved. Obviously I won't be attempting this project. I think the next thing I will accomplish is rebuilding the rear end. I hope you all were amused by the idea...I try tongue.gif
