I have a '76 j10 quadratrak and im wanting to do a SOA in the front. can anyone tell me or point me to a thread that explains how to and what all will be needed. I understand the basic of putting the axle under the springs and can do that fine but what i really need to know is what all you have to change like that steering. also what about the rear? will i just need to block lift it or i see people talking about the mid 80's chevy springs will they lift the rear? thank you!

Do a search with the terms "SOA" and "spring over" and you will find a wealth of knowledge.

the chevy springs are far from a bolt in. the front is simple.... check out bjs offroad they have a kit for about 350 bucks. if you check out my build thread in the general forum. it has pics of my current sprin over set up.
