Looking for a NP229 in working condition for my '89 GW near Dallas, Tx.
My current unit sounds terrible and is stuck in low range. Any suggestions will be helpful.
Where can I get a reputable rebuild?
I'd rather just bolt one in but having been a mechanic many years ago I've got the skills to rebuild it but don't know if I have the patience:)
Can I get all the necessary parts? Where?
How much would the parts be? Considering how bad it sounds I'm thinking it will need just about everything.
