Well, I finally have some pictures and comments about my J-20. It's a '76 with a 401, a moderate lift, tilt wheel and cruise control.

It came with an added item, which I assume are correct for this application.

It has an interesting front spring set-up.

And it has the extra tank in the bed.

My question is: What is the capacity of this tank?

It is currently in storage and I hope to get it on the road sometime this next summer.

take some measurements or make a best guess. Since the tank is the shape it is, visualize it as two rectangles, then use this site to give you a ballpark figure.

it's usually fairly accurate if you take into account the thickness of the material the tank is made of, and the empty air space at the top.

I think it is a 17 gallon tank. If I run across mine this weekend I'll measure it. I just don't remember mine being big enough for 17 gallons, but it is the stock tank.
