I ordered a steering stabilizer from BJ's on Saturday. The UPS guy dropped it off this afternoon and was quickly installed immeadeately after. It took about 30 to 45 minutes to install. The only problem that I have is the fact that I could'nt tighten down the nut from the piston. As I try to tighten that nut, the whole shaft turns. Any tips or hints? Other than that, it was a simple install. Thanks again to BJ's for the quick shipment and all the support for us FSJ nuts....:)

Confused...
Mine has two eyelets and brackets with studs that go through the shock bushings. (Looks just like a shock)
Are you installing a universal one?

The end of the shock should be squared off and you can slip a wrench onto it.

Babywag,
I think it is a universal set up. There are two brackets. One bolts to the axle and the other bolts to the steering arm. The side that bolts to the the axle (shock body) tightened up easily. It was the other side (shaft end) that I had trouble with.
TPI,
I will try tht tomorrow after my bike ride. Other than that little issue, the stabilizer works like a champ. I drove around for about 30 to 45 minutes with a few stops to check things out and everything looks good. Again, I appreceate the quick shipment and all your support.
