I sold my '78 Cherokee on, as I had done about as much with it as I would have time to, but the new owners is a local guy who is doing me proud with how he's treating my old project. Here's a link to the thread on our club's board:

and a bit of what he's been up to:

I'm so proud...
:D
Well, I'm glad to see it went to someone that can use it.
Kinda weird for me to picture you without it, was one of the first dozen or so FSJ's I saw that got me interested in this stuff back then.

I'm guessing he flipped from the obstacle the photographer was standing on? Otherwise, MAN he had to try hard to flip on those little rocks! ;)

Heh...i was thinkin the same. Looks like the access road to the real trail :p
Jokes aside, glad it went to someone who will use it, obviously! I always liked that rig.

There's a video in the forum post I linked which has video of the roll; a very gentle one, I would say.

Yep, that's me with the bald head in the blue sweatshirt. That IS the head of the trail (being only about 20 yds in from the road) with that 9' or so rock face being the second most difficult obstacle on the trail. Out here on the east coast we don't have the luxury of access roads to our trails ;)
It was very wet and with the addition of the leaves it didn't help one bit. A little tire roasting on the first attempt left me frustrated and I decided to just heave-ho with the skinny pedal and voila! I managed to only break the windshield (and my pride) so I continued on after we righted her back up. Another attempt when it's dry out would yield different results I'm sure.
And Tad, you're right...Bob influenced me with my first Wagoneer as well. He's a pioneer in this addiction!
