TFI Upgrade

I dicided to go with quality parts. I have had a lot of luck with NAPA parts over the years so when I find a good supplier I stick with them, regardless of the cost. The cheap stuff is just that, CHEAP!

Those prices don't look that bad, except for the ignition coil. Is it special or something? You can get an MSD Blaster coil for under $50 shipped from Summit. I went with the "cheap" one from Advance for aboue $22 or $23. So that is big difference in prices between you and everybody else I think. I was at about $120, but I got some extra spare things too (a used spare coil, bracket, etc.) Overall I agree with you, I would like to always buy from Napa and CarQuest, but the closest Napa or Carquest with anything in stock is about 35 miles. I'm not always patient when I'm in the middle of a project!

Around here everything is colse by. Sometimes you have to use whats available. As for the coil, I don't know why it was so expensive, but it better last a long time!!!!
