I was behind a 2010 Cadillac CTS sport wagon in my GW.
We were both pulling into the local food store.

When the driver of the CTS was getting out of his car,
I was driving by to pull into a parking spot.

He did a complete 360 following me passed him.

That was Great

LOL Technically in the State of Arizona, Wagoneers are Station Wagons.

we was probably afraid the FSJ would either leak on it, crash into it, or bring down the value by being parked next to it ;)

He was probably thinking he should've bought a nice Wagoneer instead of that fugly Caddy after seeing Eric's beautiful '90.

I kind of like the wagon... of course it would look better with the 'V' front end... not to mention the 'V' engine as well:

The new Caddy wagons are cool. The new SRX's are kinda toolish looking, a wagon with tacky add-ons.

I'm a Cadillac fan, I picked up an STS for the wife last year. So far, it is the best car I've owned, driven and enjoy to date. (I did say car, and not truck).

Now this Caddy I snapped at Mid-Ohio as last year's vintage races was cool...

I want a V-wagon soooo bad. I really need to get rid of the SS and replace it with a wagon. Too bad they'll probably never make it and it'll be way out of my price range if they do.

My Aunt has had more Cadillacs than anyone, and all of hers from the '80s on up have been pretty junky. I must say I really like the new ones (CTS especially) - glad they're turning things around in the looks department.

Cool story MIB.

Agree

GM is finally getting their head out of their butt in the styling department.

Its a wagon, but there's only room for two big gulf bags in the back,
with the rear seat down.

I dunno, I think they look like some kind of embryo myself.
Never had much use for any GM vehicles. Never owned one.

^fugly even if it wern't made by Government Motors.

Give me a XLR-V any day... Not practicle but as fast as it is I don't need to worry about CARGO... I would certainly crash before ever getting to a place ot USE it.

It is too bad that most of my life GM (and Chrysler) built junk cars so they have lost the trust of a whole lot of customers now that they are actually building nice cars. I would buy a CTS, (wagon or sedan) I think they are great looking, but it would have to be a V.

I would take a stock CTS wagon with awd and add a STS turbo sytem.
http://www.ststurbo.com/ Gorgeous car!

EDIT:of course no money for any car, let alone a CTS.

The Wagoneer is a much loved vehicle. My wife and I were in our fourth of July parade for our business and people crowded the Jeep so much the cops had to come and escort us through the crowd. I got a lot of offers to buy it. NEVER!!!

I had a serious offer to buy mine this summer. A guy from one of the professional race outfits wanted it and obviously had the $$. I always said that everything's got a price on it but I just couldn't let it go. Guy was going to put a LS9 (Corvette ZR1) motor in it.

On the 'up side', though, I've always had a love of old Caddies and Continentals, around the '49 - 65 years. A real soft spot was for the '59 Cadillac. Who can forget the Chrome, fins and tonnage and enough room to sleep six on the back seat.

I'd like to see a true Cadillac sports car with the chisled look of the newer cars with the performance of the Corvette.

And I'd like to see the DTS and STS have something more than tired ol' 292hp and 320hp engines!!!

Maybe something to compete with BMW's 535hp six-oh V12 in the 760Li. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm http://home.off-road.com/%7Eplasticboob/faces/cool_shades.gif http://home.off-road.com/%7Eplasticboob/faces/burnout.gif

We didn't need an escort but we took the waggy camping in New Mexico last summer. Every night in the campground someone would walk over and say how they liked "those old Jeeps."

 I don't know if the sweet grandmothers who drive Caddies deserve all that monstrous torque! They might do some damage! ;) :D

On an unrelated note, my aunt always subtly badmouths my "big truck that eats a lot of gas" and then promptly takes off at light speed in her 4.6liter Northstar.
