Has anyone here upgraded their wiper motor? I had mine on high the other day, and they were about as slow as snot. I am thinking about trying to find another one from a later-model vehicle, and see if I can adapt it to fit. If anyone has done this, shoot me an email at ryan@bjsoffroad.com
Also, does anyone have info on the wiper-arm-mounted sprayers.....the kind that has several holes along the blades, that provides LOTS more spray onto the windshield in an arc while the wipers are moving?

I guess I am just going to have to be the first to do this.....ah well, I've always wanted to be an expert on wiper motor interchangeability!!

LOL! Let me know how it goes, mine is painfully slow.

I've always wanted to put the squirts onto the wiper arm...I know late model chysler's, plymouth and dodge have their wipers set up that way...
good luck...

i used a the wiper motor from an 81 when the POS on on my 88 broke. i considered it an up grade :D , you can try taking it out , opening it up and regreasing it. if you do make sure the contacts are clean

hi, as far as the arm mounted sprayers, go to a junkyard and get them from a gm car or van. measure how wide your wiper arm is, and get one that is the same width. drill a small hole in your arm to keep it from moving, and off you go. good luck, john

Do you mean drill a small hole in my wiper arm and fasten the sprayer arm to the wiper arm?
