this will go in the '91,in place of the stroker. this is the motor that was in the '91 when i got it. it's a Mopar Reman. i cleaned it up,fresh cam, bearings. intake...few odds and ends...

with the luck i've had with AMC lately.......i hope it gives no problems. it will have a 5600 rpm governor in the tranny to live with, but that's not terribly high.

for this motor,i finally broke down and bought one of these. shoulda years ago.

i'm putting another 4180 together for it as well. waiting on the new throttle shaft. i bead blasted this one.looks kinda cool, neat sand cast kinda finish. will be a grime magnet though. hey,it'll look good for a few trips down the road.

Is that where that dual port Offy went?

Bet it runs like a spotted ape.

Equa-Flow. bought new from P.A.W,they had it on ebay as clearance.

not a fan of the Dual-Port for a V8 app.

Ahh, those square looking port runners looked like the Offy that was in the For Sale section. It looks good. Bet it runs even better.

Naw, that's going on TX 401. :D

Looking sharp there but... I'm a lil scared of doing my own cam bearings. Just for lack of having gone there I guess.

lol...yah,it's nice to be pampered by the plushiness of the GW,rather than assaulted by the vague handling, tire howling, wind noisy, engine noisey song of the cherokee........man,i love that cherokee...so manly. i can carry my man-purse and not get laughed at in it.

that's pretty much how I feel hopping from My CherMANokee and into one of those lifted station wagons you guys call Waggys.

Nice work man, glad to see the replacement is working well :) should go dyno it and see what it's doing for ya.
