Quick Question

I am getting ready to change the tranny mount. I have my floor jack and the piece of wood to go between the jake and the tranny. I crawl under there to get started and I can not decided where to place the jack and the block. From looking at it I woul have to place it on the pan right next to the cross member. Is this the correct place? I could not see anywhere else that it could go.

yes you will have to jack it fromt he pan, just make sure its a wide piece of ood, not a 2x4 or something. Preferable a 2x6 or wider, so you dont dent it...the more dispersed the weight is the better.
