I found an ad for a Dana 60 out of a 1976 Dodge Ram Charger. Is this wide enough for my WT Cherokee? Will the springpads work?
What about a D60 out of a 1968 Ford F250?
Thanks!

I can measure the spring perches on my spare stock rear 60. I think therer 67" backing plate to backing plate.
You don't know a guy named Bob that zipps around town on an old Naked GoldWing? Pretty sure he is from Everett. Not sure how big a town it is.

Been here less than a year. The rear axle of my WT Cherokee went out & I'm looking for a replacement. Was looking before, but with long hours at work and other personal business that was put on the back burner. My buddy wants to clean up his yard so he's after me to get the Jeep roadable again. Can't blame him and he's been a good friend

To my knowledge the ramcharger never came with a D-60 in it. IF it is a D-60 swapped out of a dodge 250/350 and the perches were NOT I know it would bolt into a waggy almost directly...I don't know on the full size chero though.
As far as width...I think the ramchargers were narrower like a waggy BUT if the 60 was not narrowed than it should be at least as wide as the stock axles in the cherokee if not a tad wider. Same goes for the ford D-60.

The Ramcharger was full width like the trucks, but never came with a 60. Though it could have been swapped in at one time or another.
