727 w/ QT compatible

Hey all, I just got my second wagoneer, a 73 w/ 360/th400/QT. Bad tranny, was wondering if I could use my 727 from my 80 Wagoneer in place of it? Will the QT bolt up or no... ????

Anybody know of a used th400 for sale that will work?

The QT will not bolt up to anything but a TH400 with the QT 10 spline out put shaft. It is unique to that t-case.

What is bad with the tranny? A TH400 is an easy tranny to rebuild.
