Nice. A Waskly Wabbit hiding over there by the fence. I always liked your round headlight conversion!
Here is mine when it had fresh paint and new to me brush guard in 97.

I know what you mean Chris, I can remember every detail about the day I first bought mine (well, almost - I can't remember what I did with the wind deflector ).
I bought it in February of '02, here's the first pic I saw of it, from an ad on The Recycler:

Ah, trip down memory lane. My 1st J truck. aka Crusty. Went onto gpfrk and then to FSJeeper. Don't know that there's anything left of it. 10 years ago.
Crusty next to Lindel's GE Cherk.

I found this unwanted J truck in Southwest KS around 2003. Drove it to CO and then back to KY right out of the box. It was destined to become a Dark Metallic Blue 76 badged Honcho with a 401. The motor coming from Dad's long dead 76 Honcho. After getting it home I found exactly what I was about to create from this truck and a pile of parts. So I bought it and this poor pup didn't get alot of playtime. It did get a local known nickname as "Toto". This came one outdoor party where I had this truck and my J20 side by side. It was smaller and no longer in Kansas so "Toto" was named.
Later sold to Aaron who spruced it up and gave it some much needed care. Then came the new name "Tequilla Sunrise". It would later pass hands again and become the truck we all know as Janie's "Tequilla". Polished and beefed up it has a new home over seas now..
I regret ever selling this truck as the Jeep gods have cursed me since..

Are you streching your hamstings or pushing? (pretty sure I know the answer, although you should do one before the other)

My first FSJ out of 4, when I drove it home for 500 bux in early 2005:
http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p150/cheech7474/J3000Pside.jpg
couple years later, tore it down due to the cab being bent up from cow killing at high speed and general desire to have it last another 40 years maybe (lol)

and now, almost done!:
