Try that with a Prius and see how many us the same fruitcake hippie types start protesting!

This has been covered already... I already left him a couple of nastygrams on YouTube.

There's no such thing as bad press, Duncan. They wanted attention, they got it.

Destroying is easy. I'd like to see those hippies build something that actually does something useful.

Actually there is... Just look at Wal-Mart. Also its their truck: They will do with it what they want... I am just letting them know I think its dumb idea that is both wastful and fully without artistic merit.

yeah..sure it was way quicker to sawzall the door hinges off then undo 3 or 4 bolts. I actually like the DeathStar Wag, but they could have used a clapped out junker instead of the nice one they started with.

I'm not sure about your reference to WalMart. Bad press has not stopped them from making billions more than me, some of it obviously mine.

What's the difference in what the "artist" did and what some of us do to our rigs?

So there are people who are upset about this happening? I'm confused. Not like this was a rare model or anything. There are plenty of nice FSJ examples left in this country and they are repeatedly passed over by FSJ cheapskates because they cost %30 more than a clapped out rustbucket.

If you are upset by this, go buy the nice ones and don't sell them for next to nothing!

Not much Jeff.
I'm no artist, nor an art fan for the most part, but I'd stick it in my back yard, drink beer and look at it (looks better than some of the crap sitting out back right now anyway).

Creation of a sculpture by artist Keny Marshall from the disassembled parts of a 1983 Jeep Grand Wagoneer for the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh.

Don't be surprised if the kids in Pittsburgh start craving GW's as their first cars. Maybe it will work on an elemental level....

Functionality. Most of the rigs that are cut apart here have a master plan in store for them, although I'm sure many of them spend a fair amount of time as lawn art. I know mine has.

I think his master plan was better fuel economy. So he tried to make a Buell Blast out if it.
