Engine done... Now Questions

OK, the Edelbrock and HEI upgrade is finally done... Its like a totally different vehicle! :D Now I've got a few questions:

1) Why is there a sucking noise coming from the gas cap. I didn't notice it before the upgrade but now I do.

2) Anyone have trouble with the electric choke on the 1406 Edelbrock carb? With it on it would run real lean, so right now I've got it completly disabled. I just let it warm up before running. Any advice on setting it up right?

Oh yeah, HEI is a real tight fit... but runs great!!! :D :D :D

Don't know much about the choke set up, mine came good out of the box except for a very high idle, I think it has the black "dial" on it for lean/rich though, doesn't it.?? As far as the tank sucking sound, did you use the return line and the samae type of fuel filter with the return line? Also the return line fitting on the filter has to be in the 12 o'clock position to work properly.
