Did the 85 GW have a 4wd light ? Told you it was an easy ? .

good ? mine has a place for it in the cluster but no light and ****ed if i can find it,now my mothers 88 has it so good ?

I beleive the 83->85 229 does not have the switch hole tapped in it.
With a 87+ (You don't want an 86 228 if you can help it) case and some
wiring you to could have a light in the dash.

Both my '83 & '84 have the hole for the light. Both have the 4wd lens in the cluster too.

Where is the sending unit for such a light?? on the x-case??

If one did not come stock with my rig, is there a easy way to put one on??

Its on the t-case, hanging right underneath. Newer 229s have 'em.
