We had a situation arise today and thought we needed an HEI shipped to the campground in Cruces so an urgent repair could be made. Zack got the part shipped overnight within a hour or so of my order. I learned later that its not the distributor that is failing and that the ill Wag is pulling out of the campground to head to a friends house for surgery first thing in the AM. There will be no one to receive the package at the campground so I call Zack and apologetically ask him to reroute the package to our home. He lets me know in just a few minutes that he's rerouted the package.

Zack pulled a rabbit out of the hat for a fellow jeeper in distress and then calmly and efficiently handled the change of plans.

My gratitude to Zack for taking care of us and then rolling with the punches. :thumbsup:

I swear its worth owning an FSJ just for the people you get to deal with... I donno if nicer people tend to prefer FSJs or is FSJs make people nice but its got to be one or the other.

I got hit, by a bird on I-10.
Took out my turn signal lens.

You have to really give Zack :thumbsup: :thumbsup: for him stepping up like that.

Zack took his customer service to the nth degree that afternoon. I must have called him a dozen times that afternoon and then finally, sheepishly, called to ask him if he could reroute the package. He never balked and he never got annoyed with me even though I felt like I was taxing his patience and good will.

Yeah, if there's one thing I missed about PA it was getting the chance to hang with Zack every once in a while and check out his cool projects! I remember when he was first developing the dash insert for better gauges. I haven't had any of my "keepers" on the road, so I hadn't bought one yet.

I just bought a Waggie in St Louis that has his insert and all new Stewart Warner gauges and it is AWESOME! I am definetly going to get this setup for my 82 J10/258/T5 (Keeper) and a later model for the lastest iteration of the 4 door J20 (88 dash and a keeper!)

Yeah, I have to agree that Zack is a good guy. I've always had great customer service there. My kids refer to his shop as "Zack's house" as in "Daddy, are we going to Zack's house this weekend?" And the answer is usually yes.

Well, since I did not need it to get home and Krista jumped through hoops to get it for me, it is going on her nice 77 Waggy 401 this next weekend instead. I will muddle through fixing my wiring and keep the Duraspark junk until I can afford my own HEI. :rolleyes:
