Welcome. It is awesome that your Dad is on here and he is able to give you an FSJ! One of my daughter's first words was JEEP , she is 22 months. I intend for my 74 J10 to be hers someday. Mainly so I can get another :D

Well aren't you lucky? When I first started driving I had a hand-me-down Volvo...

Welcome From Texas:thumbsup:
Good working with you at the WOT Saturday .. I used to spend time working on Dad's old 59 IH Pick up truck. Then when I was 12 Dad came home Friday and took all the tools( he built houses) out of it and put them in the garage. He then drove off in the old truck Saturday morning. Needless to say I was confused and He wouldn't say why he was doing what he was doing.
Saturday afternoon Dad came flying up the road in a brand spanking new 1976 J10 Honcho. I remember watching him back it in the driveway and getting out with a huge grin on his face. He was a "Brow Man" through and through. My life with Jeeps started then and I never regretted it. I remember him remarking about the 1981 models being the death of the Jeep trucks.
I never got to work on trucks or cars with Dad anymore after that point as believe it or not that Jeep ran flawless for many many years. I wish he was around now a days he would be grinning ear to ear knowing there are still Jeeps around and a group of die hards still into them. I'm sure he will have gotten over the Brow thing by now but I"d gaurantee he would take over my 77 Honcho before the 81 J20.
Enjoy the time with Dad fixing his truck. Your truck is going to have to be started soon to be ready for your driving debut..
Welcome for Nevada and you do need a BROW if you are going to have a J-truck :)
