Why doesn't my front driveshaft clear the transmission pan?? It's a Chevy turbo 400 with the Dana 20 transfercase. I can't hook up my front driveshaft.

Do you have it in a CJ7? If so what year? If it is a narrow track CJ (pre 198?) then the front diff is too far to the left on these rigs for the shaft to clear the pan. There is only a small amount of clearence between the trans and the shaft in a Wag which is wider between the springs than the CJs. I was thinking of putting Wag axles in my CJ and found this little tidbit out when I was investigating.
