Flint, Flint, Flint.......

I could get that paint to buff right out.;) Any worthwhile parts left or just some scrap money coming in.

Its so full of rust holes that it won't bring much weight in scrap! The rockers are flapping in the wind and the inside... is..... er....... let's just say UGLY. The poor old thing is nasty. We pulled the 401 but there wasn't much else that we could salvage. Off to the Yard she goes. Adios Rusty!

And she's got to go NOW so I can give Flint permission to bring home the free 360 GW that was given to us a few weeks ago.

I'm the biggest scavenger there is and I can say without a doubt there isn't a square inch of FSJ on that thing worth saving that hasn't been pulled :(

You wish you were so lucky.

If I didn't put my foot down we'd be up to our eyeballs in FSJs.

well since the back yard is lower than your 2nd story porch, I'd say there's PLENTY of room for FSJs :D

It would be interesting to find "Who" really put their foot down Flint or you!!Well Sir... It kinda goes like this... A few weeks ago, our neighbor approached me to see if I would take his wife's 87 GW off their hands. Ummm, For Free. I spent some time working on it 3 years ago and the best I could come up with without tearing the front of the motor apart is that it has jumped time. It runs but it will hardly pull itself up the road. I asked Krista about bringing it home and she generously told me that if the Chief was gone, we could be so. Since then I have squeezed a free 93 ZJ in to the deal too. We are ahead in Jeep indebtedness and she ain't making me sleep in the basement. :D It is a win-win as far as I can tell.

JRRyan went with me to Montrose to drag it home last May. It had a 401 that is going in our Camper Special.

Nah, this one is an ugly baby. Even the steel vacuum lines to the QT Edrive were rusted out. Originally a 360 rig, the PO found a rebuilt 401 that a machine shop had never been paid for in Rifle, CO. Looks to be a 72 model engine. It only has about 10k miles on it and runs real quite. A new paint job, Performer intake and 4 bbl and should be ready for the truck. About all I saved was the front drive shaft, QT and T400. The rear drive shaft was pretzel like. Before we haul it off, I am also keeping front axle flat tops and outers along rear axle to eventually give Luna Wag a set of 3.54 gears.

Hey does that W/T have a good QT rear end?I am pulling it for the other white 401 Waggy. I have a set of 3.54 gears for the SOA front. That will be a nice upgrade from 3.07 as it has 33s on it. We will be ending up with a 3.07 Waggy rear end after that though.

Gotcha, I don't think I could find a use for that racin' rear end tho.;)
Been hunting for W/T axles lately.

Been hunting for W/T axles lately.I thought Jon had one in his back yard in GJ? It might even be one of Phil's old rigs. Jon is one of the young fellas Phil and Sue kind of adopted. Ryan got the old Gladiator from him a couple years ago. He had the tan Cherokee and his wife has the new Wrangler at Ouray this summer.
