Vin Question

Wanted to see If I could get some help figuring out some info on a jeep gladiator I just purchased. Vin Number is 2406w 200880. I'd like some info on what year it is and maybe what equipment it came off the line with. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Built March of '66, it's the light weight 5,000LB GVWR with D44/D44 on the short 119/120" WB.

Thank you for the info. Ive been haveing a hard time nailing down the year. Im realy excited about getting this rig up and going again. This truck has the amc 232 which I think is original and im looking to maybe mate it with a muncie 465 transmission. It seems like it might be a good match. Body wise I still need to find cab corners, rocker panels and floor pans. Ive been looking on ebay at service manuals that might help me. If you know any good sources for parts and information for this truck let me know. I realy want to get it back to its original glory. Thanks again for the help. Also Id love to see some pictures of your 64 thriftside

Is it possible to find replacement keys for 66 Gladiator or do I need to replace the ignition switch.
