J10 Center Caps

Question,
I have a set of all black center caps that came
with a 1983 J10 Laredo that I just purchased.
All of my other 1981 - 1984 J10's have the
chrome center caps. Is this something just
for the Laredo or are these from a 1970's J10 and
not for the '83 J10 Laredo?
None of my '80's literature shows the black center caps.
